Quran with audio-digital pen presented to Mintimer Shaimiev

Today, in the Kazan Kremlin, RT State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev met with representatives of the World association of assistance to the Tatar entrepreneurs: Chairman of the organization Nurulla Sattarov from Tyumen and Chairman of National-cultural autonomy of Tatars of the Altai region Anvar Aminov.

Publishing by the World association of audio-digital version and interpretation of Al Quran in the Tatar language became the reason for the meeting. It is a book - printed Al Quran in the Arabic language and an electronic speaking pen, which detects and reproduces a text in Tatar, Arabic and Russian languages when touching its tip to the beginning of ayat. Necessary language is selected by pushing the corresponding button. This new technical development eases the process of studying the Holy Quran.

The guests presented to Mintimer Shaimiev one of the first issues of this unique publication and told about history of its creation.

According to them, publication of Quran with audio interpretation in various languages is an idea of Chinese Muslims. Having seen this in China, they decided to make interpretation in the Tatar language. The project has been agreed with the Russian Islamic university in Kazan.

Nurulla Sattarov and Anvar Aminov informed Mintimer Shaimiev that they had brought 100 issues of this edition as a gift to the Republican fund of revival of historical and cultural monuments.

Mintimer Shaimiev thanked guests for this noble and charitable deed which would help to study Al Quran not only by religious figures, but a wide circle of Tatar-speaking listeners, wishing to learn the basics of Islam in native language.
