Mintimer Shaimiev meets Aide to Russian President Anatoly Seryshev

On April 26, in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Revival Regional Foundation Mintimer Shaimiev had a meeting with the Aide to Russian President Anatoly Seryshev, who arrived in Kazan to take part the 11th International Economic Summit “Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit-2019.

Before the meeting, Shaimiev showed Seryshev the exposition devoted to the activity of the Foundation aimed at the preservation of historical and cultural heritage and informed about the project “Cultural Heritage: the ancient city of Bolgar and the island-town of Sviyazhsk”. Due to the support of the federal authorities, the implementation of the project was completed in January of the current year. He also told the guest about the reconstruction of the Cathedral of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God.

Shaimiev thanked Seryshev for taking part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the monument of the great Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukay, held in the park named after the poet this morning.

During the meeting, the parties had a fruitful dialogue about current events in the life of the republic and the country.

Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Administration Asgat Safarov and Chief federal inspector in Tatarstan Renat Timerzyanov took part in the meeting.
