On March 19, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and State Counsellor of the republiс Mintimer Shaimiev got acquainted with the new exhibition of the Museum-Memorial of the World War II.
The Museum was opened in 2005 on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Victory and is located in the former building of the Cadet School (part of the architectural ensemble of the Kazan Kremlin).
A new exposition on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Victory was established at the Museum-Memorial on an area of 400 square meters.
Materials on the military and labor exploits of the Tatarstan people and new exhibits received from war veterans and rear workers, search organizations are exhibited here. Real exhibits - witnesses and participants of the events - tell the museum visitors about the exploits of our fellow countrymen.
The new exhibition envisages the active involvement of visitors of different ages and contributes to the formation of historical consciousness, spiritual culture, patriotism and tolerance among visitors.
Aide to Tatarstan President Olesya Baltusova, Tatarstan Minister of Culture Irada Ayupova and other officials took part in the meeting.
