On October 5, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev visited Kazan’s first polylingual educational complex “Adymnar”.

The Adymnar project is intended to become a model of a modern school that provides competitive education in Russian, Tatar and English in accordance with the state educational standards of the Russian Federation and the tasks set in the Education national project.

It is planned to establish a network of such complexes in the republic. By 2024, there will be six of them, including two shools in Kazan and one each in Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Elabuga and Almetyevsk. On September 1 this year, polylingual schools in Kazan and Elabuga opened their doors.

The educational complex in Kazan consists of several buildings. Minnikhanov and Shaimiev looked around the polylingual school on Bondarenko street. They visited transformable multifunctional classrooms, design laboratories and workshops, a dining room, a gym, a swimming pool, rooms for children's creativity and modern technology workshops. Also, a specially built boarding school was opened at the school, in which children from 7 nearby districts are living.

Then Tatarstan President and State Counsellor of Tatarstan visited the educational building on Bichurin street, where they had a meeting with teachers of the educational complex and industry old stagers. Minnikhanov congratulated teachers on their professional holiday. He noted that the teaching profession is the real vocation that requires a lot of work and patience from a person.

Minnikhanov appreciated the conditions created for students and teachers in the new educational complex "Adymnar". At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that teachers are the most important thing in every school. “We can build any school in a year. But sometimes it may take decades to find the right staff,” Tatarstan President stressed.

Shaimiev supported Tatarstan President, noting that a teacher is one of the oldest and most respected professions on earth. “I believe that the word “Teacher” should always be written with a capital letter,” he added.

Addressing the old stagers, Minnikhanov urged them to help young specialists, share their experience with them. "You, as senior comrades, should help, be mentors."

In conclusion, Minnikhanov reminded about the need to comply with the rules for the prevention of coronavirus infection in schools and use personal protective equipment.
