The Ambassador of China to Russia has congratulated the State Counselor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaymiyev with his 85-th birthday

Congratulating the State Counselor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaymiyev with his 85-th birthday, the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Russia Zhgan Hanhui has said in his telegram:

“I deeply respect you as an outstanding modern political and state leader who tied his destiny with his Motherland and dedicated all his life to honourble work of increasing the well-being of his people.

Currently, the China-Russia relations are at the unprecedentedly high level. The cooperation is becoming more active in different spheres for the real advantage of both countries. I would like to stress that the interregional cooperation is one of the most beneficial directions. Within the “ Yangtze –Volga” mechanism there is a well-established interaction between Tatarstan and regions of China, a number of large projects are being implemented and various cultural events are organized which strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between our people.

China is ready to maintain close contacts with Tatarstan and to make joint contribution into progressing development of interregional cooperation of our countries”.
