Mintimer Shaimiev, Eleonora Mitrofanova and Valery Graifer visit Bolgar Museum Reserve

On July 18 Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of Guardians of Regional fund “Revival” Mintimer Shaimiev, Permanent Representative of Russia to UNESCO Eleonora Mitrofanova, Chairman of Board of Directors of OAO “LUKoil”, Chairman of Board of Directors OAO “RITEK” Valery Graifer visited Bolgar State Museum Reserve.

Mintimer Shaimiev showed a new river station and Museum of Bolgar civilization situated at the river station to the guests.  Eleonora Mitrofanova and Valery Graifer looked around Commemorative Memorial that was mounted in honour of official adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgars in 922 and other historical and cultural monuments.

Aide to Tatarstan President, CEO of Regional Fund for Revival of Historical and Cultural Monuments Tatyana Larionova told in details about activity of the Fund in the ancient town of Bolgar.  

Valery Graifer arrived in Bolgar to see the Complex of sacred spring “Gabdrakhman sakhabe koesy” (the well of sakhab Gabdrakhman), the reconstruction works of which had been invested by OAO “LUKoil”. He was satisfied with the work done by OOO “Gran” with the scientific support of Council of experts of the Revival fund.  

Mintimer Shaimiev asked Valery Graifer to thank Lukoil President Vagit Alekperov and noted that the Sacred spring was becoming one of the most popular places for pilgrims and tourists.

At the end of the tour about the ancient town of Bolgar Eleonora Mitrofanova shared her impressions.
