Mintimer Shaimiev expresses his condolences on the occasion of the death of Murtaza Rakhimov

The State Counselor of Tatarstan, the First President of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev has sent a telegramme of condolences to the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov on the occasion the death of Murtaza Rakhimov , in which he said:

“Longstanding political, economic and public work of Murtaza Gubaydullovich (Rakhimov) for the benefit of his native republic is worth reverence and is an example of true service of his people. He managed to pass the most difficult and life-changing years for Bashkortostan and the whole of the country with good grace. We remember very well the work of the highest power bodies of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan in settling a number of difficult problems during Perestroyka.

I am grateful to Murtaza Gubaydullovich for longstanding fruitful cooperation as we had not just business but also friendly, brotherly relations that also exist between our peoples”.
