Mintimer Shaimiev receives congratulations with his birthday

On 20 January Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev got a phone call from Russian President Vladimir Putin who congratulated him with his 88th birthday.

Today numerous congratulatory telegrammes are coming from heads of states, regions and republics, representatives of the society, science, education , residents of the country and Tatarstan.

Congratulations also came from Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin , the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly Valentina Matvienko and other Russian high rank officials, heads of Russian entities, Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and his spouse ,and other officials from Russian state.

Mintimer Shaimiev also got warm congratulations from the Chairman of the Russian Spiritual Muslim Board Ravil Gaynutdin and the Chairman of Tatarstan Muslims Spiritual Board Kamil Samigullin and the Metropolitan of Kazan and Tatarstan Cyril.
