Mintimer Shaimiev presents state award to Mikhail Kozlovsky

On March 24 Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev presented medal of the Republic of Tatarstan “For valorous labour” to Mikhail Kozlovsky, an honoured worker of culture and famous photographer of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The order on presentation of the medal “For valorous labour” to Mikhail Kozlovsky for his considerable contribution to mass media development and long-term fruitful work at government authorities was signed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

Mikhail Kozlovsky was a press photographer in newspapers “Sovetskaya Tatariya”, “Vechernyaya Kazan”, and “Izvestiya Tatarstana”, and has worked at Tatarstan President’s Press Office since 1992 .

On March 21, 2014, the photo exhibition dated to his 60th anniversary opened at National art gallery “Khazine”.

Mintimer Shaimiev visited the exhibition and highly estimated photographer’s works noting that Mikhail Kozlovsky is a master of official photo chronicles, unique portraits and landscapes painted with deep philosophical idea.

Mintimer Shaimiev thanked Mikhail Kozlovsky for long-term work at Tatarstan President’s Press Office and wished new artistic achievements.

Aide to Tatarstan President on social issues Tatyana Larionova, Head of Tatarstan President’s Press Office Andrey Kuzmin, and Head of Secretariat of Tatarstan State Counsellor Evgeny Grishin took part in the awarding ceremony.
