Mintimer Shaimiev takes part in conference “Humanitarian sciences in Tatarstan at the turn of XX-XXI centuries”

On October 7, a conference “Humanitarian sciences in Tatarstan at the turn of XX-XXI centuries” dedicated to the 85th anniversary of a politician, public figure, the first president of Tatarstan Academy of sciences and Director of the Institute of Tatar encyclopedia Mansur Khasanov was held in Kazan, Academy of sciences. The six-volume Tatar encyclopedia in Russian was presented at the conference.

Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, President of Tatarstan Academy of sciences Myakzyum Salakhov, Director of the Institute of Tatar encyclopedia Iskander Gilyazov, politicians and public figures of the republic, academicians, members and correspondents of Tatarstan Academy of sciences, colleagues and relatives of Mansur Khasanov took part in the event.
