Mintimer Shaimiev: “We are ready for cooperation”

On September 15, during the International forum "Preserving humanity as an imperative for sustainable development” at the Kazan City Hall, State Counsellor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the discussion “Modern society values system: on the way to elaborate common understanding”.

Vice-president of Russian national committee of ICOMOS, pro-rector for scientific work of Kazan state institute of culture and arts Rafael Valeev told about the experience and contribution of Tatarstan experts to elaboration of the notion “outstanding universal value” that appeared in all UNESCO documents after inscription of the Kazan Kremlin in UNESCO World Heritage List.

Deputy Chairman of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO Aleksandr Dzasokhov, Executive Secretary of the Commission Grigory Ordzhonikidze, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Aleksandra Ochirova, more than 40 experts from France, Hungary, Spain, Azerbaijan, China, Poland, Kazakhstan, and other countries took part in the discussion.

Aleksandra Ochirova thanked Rustam Minnikhanov and Mintimer Shaimiev for participation and support of the forum.

Mintimer Shaimiev thanked experts for their interesting speeches, suggestions and ideas.
