A Meeting of Council of Bolgar Islamic Academy's Founders held in Bolgar

On December 11, a meeting of the Council of Bolgar Islamic Academy's Founders was held in Bolgar.

The Central Muslim Spiritual Board of Russia, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Tatarstan are the Academy's founders.

Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Republican Foundation "Revival" Mintimer Shaimiev, Chief of Staff Tatarstan President's Office Asgat Safarov, Aide to Tatarstan President Kamil Iskhakov, Rector of the Russian Islamic Institute Rafik Mukhametshin, Professor of the University of Jordan Abdurrazak Abdurrahman were invited to attend the meeting.

The meeting discussed the organization of educational process in the Academy, made some changes to the Charter of the Bolgar Islamic Academy, approved the composition of the Council of the Academy's Founders and elected its chairman. Kamil Iskhakov, who was appointed Aide to Tatarstan President recently, became the Council Chairman.
