The Tatarstan delegation, led by Prime Minister Roustam Minnikhanov, attends the 4th Russia-Singapore Business Forum, the RT Cabinet of Ministers’s press service reports. The forum is held at the Shangri La hotel and, the organisers say, has assembled an unprecedented number of representatives from the Russian business community.

The first international contest of Muslim clothes designers “Islamic Clothes” will be held in Kazan from September 30 to October 3 as a part of the V International Muslim film festival “Golden Minbar”.

About 80 applications from Russia and foreign countries have been submitted for participation in the contest. Participants-countries include Iran, Egypt, Finland, the United Arab Emirates. The contest jury have selected 40 collections, but only 10 collections will be presented at a gala-show. Chairman of Tatarstan Muslim Women Union at RT Muslim Religious Board Nailya Ziganshina informed about it.

The gala-show of “Islamic Clothes| contest will take place at Korston centre on October 3.

The Festival of Muslim Peoples was held at Russian Islamic University as part of the International research and practical conference ‘Muslim education in Russia and abroad’ that took place in Kazan. Students of the university demonstrated the participants of the forum not only their perfect command of Arabic, Turkish and other oriental languages but also the originality of the cultures.

September 29, RT Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Linar Latypov attended the 3rd Russian-Indian Trade and Investment Forum taking place in Moscow. He made a report in the section “Regions of Russia: investment potential and opportunities for implementation of joint projects”.
