On March 26 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a session of Anti-corruption Council at the Kazan Kremlin. Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev and Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, heads of ministries and agencies, and municipalities took part in the session.

On March 26 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a joint session of Security Council and Anti-terrorist commission on efficiency of interaction between law enforcement bodies, state and municipal authorities in the sphere of prevention of extremism and terrorism in Tatarstan. Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Chairman of State Council Aleksandr Gusev, heads of ministries and agencies, municipal regions and city districts took part in the session.

On March 25 Russian Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, and Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in a solemn event dated to opening the Year of culture in the Republic of Tatarstan (Kazan, Tatar State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after M.Jalil).

On March 20 Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the 49^th session of Tatarstan State Council.

On March 17, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin and other officials took part in a solemn awarding of the winners of Regional contest “Philanthropist of the year 2013” at the Dzhalil Tatar State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in Kazan.
