The Republic of Tatarstan should regain its lost leading positions in horse breeding. Such a mission was set by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at the conference on the situation and prospects of horse breeding and horseracing development in Tatarstan. The conference was held in Kazan. Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhamentshin, district heads, CEOs of republican enterprises and horse raising establishments took part in the event.

Session of Anti-corruption Council at RT President chaired by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov has been held in House of RT Government. State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov attended the session. Heads of municipalities, territorial departments of federal tax service, law enforcement bodies, representatives of self-regulated organizations, arbitrary executives and others took part in the session in format of video conference.

Today, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev had a meeting with Senior Advisor of the Strategic Research Institute Mitsui Takehiro Togo who had already visited Tatarstan several times and met Minimer Shaimiev both as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Russia and Senior Advisor of the Strategic Research Institute Mitsui.

July 22, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the island town of Sviyazhsk where he attended the opening of the River Port and visited the new museum storage. Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Russian Deputy Culture Minister Konstantin Cherepennikov and other officials also were in Sviyazhsk with the President.

Members of government commission for investigating causes and circumstances of “Bulgaria” vessel wreck laid flowers to an improvised memorial at Kazan river port in memory of victims of the tragedy. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, RF Minister of transport Igor Levitin, State Counselor of RT Mintimer Shaimiev, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and other officials came to honor the memory of the perished.

The Tatarstan State Counsellor, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Republican Foundation for Revival of Tatarstan historical and cultural monuments, Mintimer Shaimiev, met with the Director of the Interregional Scientific and Restoration Directorate under the Russian Minister of Culture, Sergei Filatov, on July 7.

July 7, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev attended the 20th meeting of the Tatarstan State Council of the 4th convocation.

Deputies of the republican parliament established a new tourist route Kazan-Sviyazhsk-Bolgar on July 5. The trip was organized as part of the meeting of the Tatarstan State Council Presidium that discussed the course of the restoration works in Tatarstan’s historic cities Bolgar and Sviyazhsk. Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev attended the meeting that was chaired by Tatarstan State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin.

July 4, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev conducted a meeting on transport services to tourists in Bolgar and Sviyazhsk.
