The German-Russian management committee of a personnel training programme for economic entities in Germany and Russia will between July and September 2010 hold the 10th meeting. The acting Tatarstan economy minister Marat Safiullin has today told it to a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers. “The programme’s most successful graduates of various years will come to Tatarstan. Training and conferences will be arranged for them. The exact date of the event is to be decided on,” said the minister.

Marat Safiullin went on to recall the first training course for German specialists had within the presidential programme of management staff training been held in late 2009 in Tatarstan. A similar programme exists in Germany, within which small and medium business specialists take training courses.
April 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is taking part in the joint meeting of the Russian Security Council and the Volga Federal District Council.
16-year-old Kazan figure skater Konstantin Milyukov returned to Tatarstan capital on April 5 night. Senior figure skating trainer-educator of the Republican Children and Youth’s Sports School of the Olympic Reserve Yelena Tarasova told Tatar-inform about it.
About 4 billion roubles will be spent on Kazan metro construction this year. 1.6 bln roubles have been allocated so far. The funds were allocated from the Republic of Tatarstan budget, Marat Rakhimov said. The federal centre does not plan to finance the Kazan metro this year.
The 10th Tatarstan open programming team tournament among high school and university students has finished in Kazan. The organisers were the Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science and JSC ICL KME CS, with the support of Microsoft and Intel.

The anniversary competition’s winner was the Urals State University team that solved 8 problems of the 12 offered. In February 2010, the team came in 13th at the 34th world programming championship ACM ICPC 2010 in Harbin, China. The runner up at the tournament in Kazan was the Izhevsk State University team, while the Lomonosov Moscow State University Kolmogorov School team finished third. The winners were awarded medals and valuable prizes, including computer equipment and licenced software.

The best school student team, solving 5 problems, was the team of the Lobachevsky lyceum at Kazan State University. The contestants were awarded a computer. Individual prizes were given to the youngest participants, Nail Mingaleev, a 7th grader at the Kazan high school No 122, and Maria Ryabova, a 9th grader from the Kazan team No 1. The other participants received encouragement prizes.

Tatarstan State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin took part in the official swearing-in ceremony of Saratov Region Governor Pavel Ipatov on April 5. Russia President’s Plenipotentiary representative in the Volga Federal Region Grigory Rapota, the Council of Federation members and the State Duma deputies, representatives of the Volga Federal Region attended the ceremony.

On commission of Tatarstan President and on behalf of the republic’s multi-ethnic people, Tatarstan State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin made a speech at the solemn ceremony. The parliament speaker delivered greetings and congratulations to Pavel Ipatov.

The 23rd International Festival of Classic ballet named after Rudolf Nuriev will be held on the stage of Jalil Tatar Academic State Theatre of opera and Ballet on May 12-25.
The Republic of Tatarstan is a region pioneering in preparation of young people for the army and in organization of and conducting conscription.
Tatarstan has won the 1 and 2 degree certificates at the 12th Russian competition of in-cage fur farming, held at the premises of the fur animal breeding and rabbit breeding research institute in Moscow. JSC Birulevo represented Tatarstan. The company was awarded 1st degree certificates for the high quality of the silver fox pelts. A 2nd degree certificate was presented to the animal breeders for the red fox pelts.

According to the Tatarstan Agriculture Ministry, nearly all the fur stored at the animal breeding entities over the past 2 years ahs been sold, since the prices of fur have grown. The goods were sold on both the domestic and foreign markets.
Tatarstan State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin will take part in the swearing-in ceremony of Saratov Region Governor Pavel Ipatov today, April 5. Farid Mukhametshin will visit the Tatar National Gymnasia as part of his one-day visit. He will meet with the region’s Tatar community representatives, Tatarstan State Council press-service informs.
