Mintimer Shaimiev casts a ballot at the elections of members of the Tatarstan State Council

On 8 September at a polling station in the Settlement of Borovoye Matyushino the Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in a ballot in the elections of members of the regional State Council of the VII convocation.

After having cast a ballot, he said” There is just one task the members of the Council are facing: as people trust them they must serve people. If people did not trust them they would not elect them. To serve people is today, yesterday and tomorrow of the members.”

“I must say that the republic is developing properly - it creates everything and everywhere. As I used to say “We can!” we will manage it and it does. I wish all of you good health, prosperity and good harvest,” he concluded.
