Mintimer Shaimiev meets Leonid Roshal

On June 19, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev met a famous Russian pediatrician, surgeon, public figure, professor, doctor of medicine, Director of Moscow research institute of emergency paediatric surgery and traumatology Leonid Roshal at the Kazan Kremlin.

Leonid Roshal arrived in Kazan to take part in a solemn awarding of winners of Regional contest “Doctor of the year”, and visit the first children’s hospice in the republic.

Shaimiev thanked the guest for his support. “You have come on the threshold of Medical worker day. You are a very important guest at this holiday. Your presence shows respect to our medical workers and our republic. Every time I meet you at different forums, you always recall war times and thank the republic for giving shelter to many people.”

Deputy Chairman of State Council, CEO of Regional Foundation “Revival” Tatyana Larionova, Tatarstan Minister of Health Adel Vafin, and President of the Association of medical workers of the Republic of Tatarstan Irina Pitulova took part in the meeting.
