Ramazan Abdulatipov hands over the Order of Merit for the Republic of Dagestan to Mintimer Shaimiev at the 3rd Congress of the Peoples of Tatarstan

On April 22, at the 3rd Congress of the Peoples of Tatarstan, Head of the Republic of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov handed over the Order of Merit for the Republic of Dagestan to the First President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev for his great contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation and developing economic and cultural ties between Dagestan and Tatarstan.

Abdulatipov signed the corresponding decree on January 20, 2017 - on the day of the 80th anniversary of Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev.

Abdulatipov noted that Mintimer Shaimiev embodies the historical wisdom and historical courage of the Tatar people.

Shaimiev thanked the multinational people of brotherly Dagestan and Head of Dagestan for the high award.
