The Tatarstan Industry and Trade Ministry has today hosted a meeting with the delegation of the Embassy of Canada in Russia, led by Advisor on Economic Affairs Steven Basadur. The meeting was chaired by Tatarstan First Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Vladimir Soloviev.

December 7, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev and Governor of the Kirov Region Nikita Belykh signed the Cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Kirov Region on trade and economic, scientific-technical and social and cultural cooperation and the Protocol of its implementation in 2009-2013.

13 sport venues of the World Summer Universiade-2013 are planned to be put into operation in 2010. Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Irek Faizullin told a press-conference in Kazan.
