On July, 17 the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev chaired the session of the State Council of the Russian Federation devoted to the issues of the youth policy and hosted the champions and winners of the XXV Summer Universiade in Belgrade. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan took participation in these events.

Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Sergey Ivanov has arrived to Kazan on July 16. Mintimer Shaimiev, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Rustam Minnikhanov, the RT Prime Minister, met the Vice Premier of Russia at airport.

Tatarstan Government head Rustam Minnikhanov met with Rector of Russian Justice Academy, Professor Valentin Yershov at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers on July 16. Prospects of further cooperation in personnel training for the judicial system were discussed at the meeting.

On July 16, the Kazan-based “KAPO named after S.P.Gorbunov” aircraft manufacturer has delivered next strategic bomber Tu-160 to Russian air forces.

On 15 July, Minister Information and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan Farit Fazylzyanov met on the Ministry’s premises with Siemens IT Solutions & Services to discuss the issues of cooperation in the field of ICT development in the Republic of Tatarstan. At the meeting, the parties consider an opportunity of Siemens participation in the Universiade 2013 as a technical partner.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Culture Zilya Valeyeva received a letter of appreciation on behalf of Gülten Uralli, Chairman of one of the oldest societies in the Republic of Turkey for Culture and Mutual Assistance of Tatars and Bashkhirs “Idel-Urals”. The letter expresses gratitude to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Plenipotentiary Representative Office of the Republic of Tatarstan in Turkey for gratuitous and omnifarious support of various affairs and initiatives, which was especially felt in recent years.

After attending the meeting on the socio-economic situation of constituent entities of the Volga Federal District in the context of the crisis, which was conducted in Yelabuga by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Kozak, President of Bashkortostan Murtaza Rakhimov briefly visited KAMAZ on 15 July. The aim of his visit was to discuss the progress of implementing the Agreement of Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan and OAO KAMAZ.
