Two automated systems were presented to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting held in the RT House of Government on March 30. The presentation of the state automated system for target programs and the information analysis system for developing and monitoring the program of capital investment was made by RT Minister of Economy Marat Safiullin who said that the adoption of these systems ‘can open a new stage in the system of public administration in the republic”.

Representatives from the Federal Centre for Animal Toxicological and Radiation Safety will attend the EurasiaBio 2010 international congress, to be on April 13-15 held at the foreign trade centre in Moscow. The event is sponsored by the Russian public organisation Y. Ovchinnikov Biotechnologists Society. The purpose is to advertise bio technologies, bio industry and bio economy, the most important areas of the 21st century’s scientific and technical progress.
A memorandum of cooperation has in Kazan been signed by JSC Kamaz and the Microsoft corporation. The signing was a follow-up to a round table meeting between Tatarstan’s regional customers’ IT directors, attended by the Microsoft vice president Vakhe Torosyan and Microsoft Rus president Nikolai Pryanishnikov.

The Kamaz information technologies department director Viktor Ganin at the meeting discussed with the Microsoft managers issues relating to strategic IT cooperation and extending the licence agreement. The parties coincided in the opinion that the strategic partnership would offer new opportunities exchanging experience within Microsoft auto making solutions. Setting up a Microsoft competence centre and a training and IT skills improvement centre on the grounds of JSC Kamaz in Naberezhnye Chelny was said to be called for, as well as implementing some joint projects financed by Microsoft.
Tatarstan sportsmen Regina Vlasova and Sergei Goryslavets won bronze medals of the Russian under-18 championship in Russian billiards.

On March, 29 President of Republic Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov appointed new Head of security service of RT President - Aide to President of Republic Tatarstan Muslikh Sitdikov relieving from this post Rakhimov R.G. for the reason of transfer to another job.

RT President also signed an Edict in compliance with which the coverage of RT President and RT Cabinet activity is laid on Press service of RT President.

Andrei Kuzmin, former Head of RT Cabinet Press service has been appointed to the post of Head of press service of RT President.

Session of JSC "Tatneftehiminvest-holding" Board of Directors was held in House of RT Government. President of Tatarstan - chairman of JSC "Tatneftehiminvest-holding" Board of Directors Rustam Minnikhanov chaired a meeting.

Deputy chairman of Concern "Shell" in Russia Igor Ignatiev presented the review of technologies of oil-processing at Concern "Shell".

Academician of Russian academy of sciences Ilya Moiseev spoke at the session. His report was devoted to issues of bacterial synthesis for the benefit of fuel industry and petrochemistry. Further, board members discussed issues relating to preparation and holding yearly general meeting of JSC "Tatneftehiminvest-holding" shareholders.

Director General of state unitary enterprise "Agency on state order, investment activity and interregional connections of Republic Tatarstan" Yakov Geller reported on work of electronic commodity website.

President of Tatarstan - chairman of JSC "Tatneftehiminvest-holding" Directors board Rustam Minnikhanov said that the next session of Directors board is planned on April 29.

RT President, chairman of OAO Tatneft Board of Directors Rustam Minnikhanov chaired a session of OAO Tatneft Board of Directors held in the House of the RT Government.

The agenda of the session included the company’s budget performance in January and February, approval of the budget for April and the second quarter of 2010, as the discussion of the results of financial and economic activities of OAO Tatneft in 2009 as well as the implementation of the anti-crisis program.

In 2009, 25,850,400 tones of oil were recovered at the company’s oilfields. 280 operating oil wells were commissioned, oil production made up 422.6 thousand tones.

Over the reported period, as many as 23 new wells were drilled on territories of the Russian Federation outside of Tatarstan.

An oil deposit was found in Syria and 4 test wells were drilled. 2 test wells were drilled in Libya.

The total volume of investments by group of companies Tatneft taking into account construction of oil-refining and petrochemical plants Complex TANEKO made 104.3 bln rubles.

While the country’s economy is recovering after the crisis, OAO Tatneft continues working to increase efficiency of production and optimization of exploitation expenses.

The information on introduction of new technologies for the development and exploitation of deposits by OAO Tatneft was also presented at the session.

The goals of stabilization and raising oil production determine a key strategy of OAO Tatneft - adoption of advanced technologies in the whole oil production cycle. It implies the system of development, drilling, exploitation of oil deposits, major repairs of wells, methods of increasing oil extraction.

The Bugulma-based TNG Group oil geophysical company, the successor to JSC Tatneft subsidiary Tatneftegeofizika, has won a competition for geophysical well exploration in the Volgograd region for Lukoil Volgogradneftegaz. The works are to be performed by TNG Nur GIS, the location is the Pamyatno Sasov field.

Besides, the Rosneft oil company entrusted the Tatarstan-based firm with conducting seismic exploration at fields in Udmurtia, and the Magma oil company in the Khanty-Mansi autonomous region. The UralOil company has, based on the results of the competition, selected the TNG Group as the contractor, to perform the field and laboratory work, using the non-longitudinal vertical seismic geophysical profiling technique in the Perm region. The TNG Group seismic explorers have obtained one more contract after wining a tender held by JSC R Vnedrenie.
Four Tatarstan fencers have been included in the Russian team line-up for the world championship among juniors and cadets. The tournament will take place in Baku on April 2-10. Athletes will compete for 18 sets of medals, Russian fencing Federation press-service informs.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has sent a telegram of condolences to Mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov following the explosions in the Moscow Metro. "On behalf of the Tatarstanians and on my own behalf I extend heartfelt condolences to the families of victims of the tragedy," the telegram of the head of the republic reads.
