On June 2, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in opening of inpatient hospice opens in Kazan.
On May 14, Russian Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended a solemn event dated to the 200th anniversary of Kazan State Medical University that was held at the S.Saydashev Grand Concert Hall in Kazan. Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, representatives of the medical community of Russia and Tatarstan, foreign partners the KSMU, representatives of embassies, veterans, graduates, staff and students of the university also took part in the event.
