More than 200 facts of corruption in public sectors such as health care, education and social services have been revealed in the Republic of Tatarstan for the last two years and a half. All revealed facts were discussed at a session of Presidential Anti-Corruption Council at the Kazan Kremlin today. The session of held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

On July 31, at an awarding ceremony at the Kremlin (Moscow), Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the Order for Services to the Fatherland, IV degree to Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev. The Presidential order to award Mintimer Shaimiev was signed on January 14, 2014.

On July 19, the Fair Play award ceremony was held at the Pyramid Complex in Kazan. The special prize established by UNESCO-founded International Fair Play Committee was awarded to First President of Tatarstan, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, who was one of the first to support the idea of holding Summer Universiade and the International Congress « Fair Play - Nobility and Achievements in Sports" in Kazan.
On July 19, Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of Revival Foundation Trustees Board Mintimer Shaimiev, and President of International Fencing Federation, a famous Russian businessman Alisher Usmanov visited Bolgar historical and archeological complex, UNESCO World Heritage site.
