The “United Russia” party was right refusing to take part in pre-election debate

The Co-Chairman of the Higher Council of the “United Russia” party believes that the party was right refusing to take part in the pre-election debate.

“Watching the obscenity of some politicians aired live, I think that some parties already regret that they made up their mind to participate in the teledebates,” – M.Shaimiev told “Interfax-Elections”.

Mintimer Shaimiev believes our country is still in the process of formation of political parties, that is why among those admitted to elections there are diminutives ones, the programmes of which are far from reality and constructivism.

The United Russia, Mintimer Shaimiev marked, aspires to being called “the party of power”, though it is still a new party participating in the present elections, and that it why it cannot bear responsibility for today’s economic and political situation in the country.
