I warmly congratulate you on the bright holiday of Christ’s Resurrection! Christians of all over the world consider it as the holidays of holidays, the feast of feasts that symbolizes main spiritual values: goodness, justice and love of mankind. This remarkable holiday of spring, renewal, hope for good future fills people’s hearts with light feelings, brings love and mercy that Jesus Christ called upon for: “You shall love you neighbour as yourself.”

Over the centuries, Orthodox Christianity on a part with Islam and other traditional religions has been a moral foundation for inter-ethnic and inter-faith accord in Tatarstan. I am confident that everlasting Christian ideals that became an indivisible part of our religious and cultural heritage will find their special expression in the republic in this Year of Family.
