The second all-Russian Islamic book exhibition takes place in Kazan on June 9-14.
The district centre of the Republic of Tatarstan - the town of Nurlat - is celebrating its 100th anniversary coupled with traditional Sabantui on the Day of Russia, on June 12th. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev is attending the events.

The Russian Federation Government Chairman Vladimir Putin and Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev discussed the social-economic situation in the republic on June 11.

Rustam Minnikhanov, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan met with members of ICL-KME CS Board of Directors at the RT Government House on June 10.
The second Russian exhibition “Russia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – new prospects of commercial and industrial cooperation” and the Russia-Saudi Business Forum will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on October 18-21.
Presentation of the Muslim Film Festival ‘Golden Minbar’ will be organized as a part of the exhibition.

Youth championship of Russia among athletes aged 20-23 (all-around) will be held in Kazan on June 15-19 at the Central Stadium.
22 athletes will represent Tatarstan at the championship.
Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev met with Irina Kudryavtseva, the Chairman of the Volga-Vyatka Bank of the Sberbank of the Russian Federation, at the Kazan Kremlin on June 10.
The 7th Congress of Russian Youth Union, assembling over 180 delegates from Russian provinces, has taken place in Moscow.
Tatarstan delegation presented a programme called Inbound Tourism, aimed to increase the flow of tourists from Russian and CIS regions.
The national holiday Sabantuy took place in Czechia near the Vyzhlovka Lake. It assembled over 120 people all over Czechia.
