The President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mintimer Shaimiev, singed the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan “On introducing amendments to Article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan “On search-and-rescue services and search-and-rescue formations of the Republic of Tatarstan” on October 6.

Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev congratulated the staff of field hockey team Dinamo-Kazan, chairman of OGO FSO "Dinamo" Asgat Safarov, the club president Rashit Gubaidullin, chief coach of the team Dinamo-Kazan Araik Margaryan on winning the title of 6-times Russian champions.

Sunday, September 28, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev returned from holiday. The same day, Mintimer Shaimiev attended a football match of the Russian Championship between Rubin of Kazan and FC of Moscow that took place in the Central stadium in the Tatarstan capital.

As stipulated by articles 76 and 94 of the RT Constitution, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mintimer Shaimiev, brought in before the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan the RT bill "On the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2009 and the planning period of 2010 and 2011", including the RT bill "On the budget of the Fund of obligatory medical insurance of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2009 and for the planning period of 2010 and 2011" and signed corresponding representations on September 22.
