Sunday, September 28, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev returned from holiday. The same day, Mintimer Shaimiev attended a football match of the Russian Championship between Rubin of Kazan and FC of Moscow that took place in the Central stadium in the Tatarstan capital.

As stipulated by articles 76 and 94 of the RT Constitution, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mintimer Shaimiev, brought in before the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan the RT bill "On the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2009 and the planning period of 2010 and 2011", including the RT bill "On the budget of the Fund of obligatory medical insurance of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2009 and for the planning period of 2010 and 2011" and signed corresponding representations on September 22.

Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the opening of the republic’s largest school No.177 in the Novo-Savinovskiy district of Kazan on September 1. “The new school should become the model of what educational establishments should be like and how the teaching process should be organized,” the head of the republic told journalists after visiting the school.
