November 19, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev visited the Tatarstan research centre of “Reconstructive traumatology and orthopedics”. The head of the republic examined departments for adult and pediatric traumatology and the intensive care unit.

November 17, Russian President met with representatives of the United Russia party in Zavidovo, Tver region. President Shaimiev took part in the meeting.

November 16, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev is visiting the Leninogorsk municipal district of the republic. First on the agenda was a visit to OOO Leninogosk mechanical plant. The head of the republic is accompanied by Economy Minister Marat Safiullin and head of the Leninogorsk district Iskhak Sadriev.

November 15, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev is on a business trip to Bugulma where he is to take part in the enlarged meeting of the Academic Council of the Institute ‘TatNIPIneft’. Executives and experts of OOO TNG-Group will also attend the meeting.

November 14, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev and Russian Internal Affairs Minister General Rashid Nurgaliyev, who is visiting the Tatarstan capital, handed over flat keys to militiamen who are going to become new tenants of the housing complex ‘Solnechni gorod’ (Sunny town). The day also saw the opening of the memorial complex and the new building of the RT Internal Affairs Ministry being attended by Mintimer Shaimiev and Rashid Nurgaliev.

November 12, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev signed two RT laws: on introduction of amendments to the laws of the Republic of Tatarstan “On delegation of powers of state registration of acts of civil status to local authorities” and “On physical culture and sport”.

November 12, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitri Medvedev arrived in Kazan. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime-minister Rustam Minnikhanov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and other officials met the First Vice-premier at the Kazan International Airport.

November 9, on the eve of the Militia Day, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev presented awards to officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Kazan Kremlin.

November 8, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev signed five laws of the Republic of Tatarstan: “On introduction of amendments to Articles 2.9 and 3.6 of the Code of the Republic of Tatarstan of administrative offences”, on introduction of amendments to the laws of the Republic of Tatarstan “On participation of citizens in observation of the social order in the Republic of Tatarstan”, “On appeals of citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “On protection of people and territories against emergency situations” and “On creation of magistracies and posts of justices of the peace in the Republic of Tatarstan”.

November 8, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev met with Kazan party activists at the Pyramid Convention Centre.
