On July 13 RT President Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the solemn opening of the first house built in Kazan within the framework of republican social mortgage program.

On July 11, the yearly Republic seminar of oil-industry workers took place in Yelabuga. President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the seminar. The program of seminar included, in particular, acquaintance with the showpieces of new equipment and participation in the conference "about the results of the work of oil-producing companies during the first half of 2006 and further development of the petroleum branch of the Republic of Tatarstan".

On July 10, the plenary session of seminar- conference "priority trends in development of the agribusiness within the framework of the realization of the Tatarstan’s agrarian project" took place in the village Nicolskoe (Laishevo municipal region of Tatarstan). President of Tatarstan started the conference.

President of Tatarstan presented his condolences to the Governor of Irkutsk region Alexander Tishanin. The telegram text was the following: "With a terrible pain have we received information about the accident with the plane A -310, and numerous human victims. On behalf of all people living in Tatarstan, please, transmit our deep condolences and words of sympathy to the relatives of those who died, and our wish of the fastest recovery to those who survived in this terrible catastrophe".

President of the Republic of Tatarstan received a letter from Mr. Mukhtasarov, the leader of the regional Tatar national - cultural autonomy of Moscow region. The letter contained the words of appreciation for support in arranging the Sabantuy holiday in Moscow region year by year.

President of the Republic of Tatarstan received a letter from the permanent representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in Ural region Ravil Bikbov, in which he expressed his appreciation for: "a great "landing troops" from Tatarstan to the holiday-fields of Ural region, which became the main event in the celebration of Sabantuy in Ekaterinburg, Berezovsky, Pervouralsk and Chelyabinsk cities this year. This is the result of the policy of Tatarstan, which is directed to the support of compatriots, living beyond the borders of their historical native land".

On July 6, Vice-chairman of RF Government, minister of defense Sergey Ivanov within the limits of journey round Volga-Ural region visited Naberezhnye Chelny. He is accompanied by RT President Mintimer Shaimiev, RT PM Rustam Minnikhanov, head of Federal Agency of industry Boris Aleshin, head of armament of RF Armed Forces, general Alexey Moskovsky, and other officers of Armed Forces of Volga Federal District.

Vice-chairman of RF Government, minister of defense Sergey Ivanov and chairman of Federal agency of industry Boris Aleshin who arrived lately in Kazan, had an excursion round Kazan together with RT President Mintimer Shaimiev. The delegation went straight to "Kazan" international sport horse-racing complex after landing in the airport. Then the guests moved to Kremlin, where an excursion to Kul Sharif mosque and Blagovoshensky Cathedral was organized for them.

On June 30, the President of Tatarstan visits Naberezhny Chelny. The program of the working trip includes inspection of the dwelling block built by the program of social mortgage, visit to the industrial park of Kama region “Master”, the health club “The fitness planet”. The program involves President’s participation in the opening ceremony of the city’s centre of children’s and youth’s art. The President of Tatarstan will also take part in the festive program, dedicated to the Youth’s Day.

On June 29, President of Tatarstan met with the Crown Prince of Belgium Philippe, Duke of Brabant.
