On October 29 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in a solemn event dated to the 55th anniversary of OAO "Kazanorgsintez" and 50th anniversary of first production output at OAO "Kazanorgsintez" at KRK “Pyramida” (Kazan).
On October 25 Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the 45th session of Tatarstan State Council.
On October 14 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a special meeting of Tatarstan Security Council on results of housing and communal sector for autumn and winter period 2013/2014, and observance of legislation in terms of sanitary and epidemiological wellbeing of population at children’s stationary social institutions. State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Chairman of Security Council Valery Vlasov, members of Security Council, heads of municipalities, regional ministries and agencies, control and supervision bodies, energy and housing-communal objects, and children's social institutions took part in the session.
On October 11 a unique exhibition “French impressionists and their age” opened in Kazan with participation of Russia’s Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky and Director of State Hermitage Museum Mikhail Piotrovsky. Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin and Director of Kazan Kremlin museum-reserve Zilya Valeeva took part in the official opening of the exhibition. They all noted particular importance of the exhibition not only for Kazan, but for Russia and the whole world.
