On August 11, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev held a meeting on construction of the hotel complex in Bolgar historical and archeological museum. The construction works started in April 2015. Major oil companies of the republic, Tatneft and TAIF are investors of the project.

On August 6, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev visited swimming competitions of the 16th FINA World Championship 2015 at Kazan Arena stadium.

On August 5, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, FINA President Hulio Maglione, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin, and Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport Vladimir Leonov visited men’s high-diving final competitions of FINA World championship 2015 at the Kazanka River. Three Russian sportsmen took part in the competitions.

On July 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, FINA President Julio Maglione, Russian Presidential Envoy in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, President of the Association of National Olympic Committees Ahmad Al-Fahad Al Sabah, Aide to Russian President Igor Levitin, and Secretary General of the Russian Olympic Committee Anastasia Davydova attended the opening ceremony of the 16th FINA World Championship (Kazan, Tatneft Arena Sports Palace).

On July 23, at his meeting with President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev thanked him for finding an opportunity to visit the republic in the days of the 16th FINA World Championship.

On July 15, during the International congress “Historical-cultural and spiritual heritage of Sviyazhsk”, an Agreement on cooperation was signed by Tatarstan Ministry of culture, Regional foundation for the revival of historical and cultural monuments, Ministry of culture of Karelia, and the Kizhi State historical-architectural and ethnographic museum.

On July 15, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Secretary-general of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO Grigory Ordzhonikidze, Deputy Chairman of Tatarstan State Council, CEO of the Revival Regional Foundation Tatyana Larionova , Deputy Head of Tatarstan President’s Administrative Office, Head of the Tatarstan Presidential Department for internal policy Aleksandr Terentiev took part in the official opening and plenary session of the International congress “Historical-cultural and spiritual heritage of Sviyazhsk” were held at the Kazan Kremlin.

On July 13, at his meeting with Director General of Tatar-inform agency Leonid Tolchinsky, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev congratulated him on the 25th anniversary of the agency and thanked for successful and effective work in the information space of the republic and the country.

On July 2, at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan State Counsellor met with labour and WWII veteran Faizi Galiev to congratulate him on his 90th anniversary.

On June 26, Muslim Spiritual Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Association of Muslim Businessmen and Directorate of “Kazan-Arena” stadium held the 3d regional iftar held in Kazan. Large and low-income families, disabled children were invited to the event.
