On October 11 a unique exhibition “French impressionists and their age” opened in Kazan with participation of Russia’s Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky and Director of State Hermitage Museum Mikhail Piotrovsky. Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin and Director of Kazan Kremlin museum-reserve Zilya Valeeva took part in the official opening of the exhibition. They all noted particular importance of the exhibition not only for Kazan, but for Russia and the whole world.
On October 10, speaking at a solemn event dated to forthcoming Day of worker of agriculture and processing industry Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that rural area is not only the place where agricultural products are manufactured but a huge social block. A solemn event was held after the meeting dated to problems of Tatarstan dairy industry development. Best workers and heads of agricultural enterprises, representatives of agro-industrial business, ministries and agencies, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin took part in the event.
On October 3 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Vice-Speaker of Federation Council Ilyas Umakhanov, OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu took part in Strategic forum within the framework of V international economic forum of Russia and OIC countries Kazansummit’13 in Kazan.
On August 30 Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of Guardians of the Regional Revival Fund Mintimer Shaimiev met with representatives of Turkish radio and TV corporation (“Türkiye Radyo Televizyon Kurumu”, ТRТ) at the equestrian sports complex “Kazan”.
