On August 30 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov presented awards to laureates of Gabdulla Tukai State Prizes.
On August 23 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, and Board Chairman of OAO “Gasprom” Aleksei Miller took part in presentation of the International centre of archeological research in Bolgar. The centre is meant for carrying out restoration archeological works, and providing accommodation services for foreign and domestic specialists.
On July 22 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with Tatarstan medal winners of the 27th World Summer Universiade 2013 at the Kazan Kremlin. Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, representatives of Tatarstan ministries and departments took part in the meeting.
On July 18 Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of Guardians of Regional fund “Revival” Mintimer Shaimiev, Permanent Representative of Russia to UNESCO Eleonora Mitrofanova, Chairman of Board of Directors of OAO “LUKoil”, Chairman of Board of Directors OAO “RITEK” Valery Graifer visited Bolgar State Museum Reserve.
On July 17 Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, FISU President Claude-Louis Gallien, Russian Vice-Premier Arkady Dorkovich, and Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the official closing ceremony of 27th World Summer Student Games in Kazan.
