On June 16 Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev, Mayor of East Kazakhstan region Berdybek Saparbayev and members of Tatarstan delegation visited Abai theatre in Semey to take part in presentation of state awards to Tatar diaspora and the concert of masters of art.

A solemn event “Izge Bolgar zhieny” (translated from Tatar as “The meeting in holy Bolgar”) dated to 1124th anniversary of official adoption of Islam in Volga Bulgaria was held in Bolgar (the Republic of Tatarstan) on May 25.
