Hundreds of people have come to the Kamal theatre to say goodbye to a distinguished Tatar actor, People’s Artist of USSR, People’s Artist of RSFSR, People’s Artist of TASSR, laureate of State Prize of Russian Federation named after K.S.Stanislavsky, laureate of State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan named after G.Tukay Shaukat Biktemirov.

The Museum of bread has opened in Bolgar today. President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov attended the solemn ceremony.

Solemn ceremony of opening the Commemorative sign dedicated to official adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgars as a state religion in 922 was held at the historical-architectural reserve museum in Bolgar today (Spassky municipal region, the Republic of Tatarstan).

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev presented the project ‘Tatarstan’s Cultural Heritage: the Ancient Town of Bolgar and the Island Town of Sviyazhsk’ to Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov.

The presentation took place at the Kazan Kremlin.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has revered the memory of the fallen on the 67th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War today. Head of republic laid flowers to the Eternal Flame at the Memorial of Glory and the Monument to mothers and widows of the fallen in the Kazan Victory Park. The Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev, State Chairman Farid Mukhametshin, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin jointed RT President and honored the memory of GPW victims.
