On July 7, under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Tatarstan oil companies CEOs held the tenth annual meeting on an island in the Yelabuga region. Attendees were the State Advisor Mintimer Shaimiev, State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin, executives from the Russian Energy and Natures Ministries, heads of local ministries, departments, territorial branches of the federal authorities, and of municipalities. The meeting discussed issues relating to the Tatarstan’s oil industry current state and prospects.
On July 6, State Counsellor of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev visited the Natural History Museum of Tatarstan located on the grounds of the Historic and Architectural Complex of the Kazan Kremlin.

Tatarstan State Councillor Mintimer Shaimiev met with Oleg Soskovets, the President of the Russian Association of financial and industrial groups, at the Kazan Kremlin’s Representative Building on June 28.
Tatarstan State Councillor Mintimer Shaimiev visited the Kazan International Horse-Racing Complex where the festival of Sabantui took place. The festival agenda included the Tatarstan President Cup Races, the Prize of the Mayor’s Office Races, other contests and performances.

The Tatarstan’s State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev and JSC Lukoil’s President Vagit Alikperov have today met at the premises of the Kazan Kremlin representative office. The first Tatarstan President, Revival Fund advisory board chairman thanked Vagit Alikperov for responding to the ancient city of Bolgar and Sviyazhsk island town reconstruction initiative. He thanked the Lukoil and Ritek firms' management for social projects implemented in Tatarstan.
The republican fund Revival, founded by Chairman of the Board of Trustees First Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev, continues to organize works in Bolgar and Sviyazhsk. The other day restoration works have started in the Bolgar History and Architecture Museum-Reserve.
