JSC KAMAZ will take part in the 11th Russia agro-industrial exhibition “Golden Autumn”, which is to be held on October 9-13 at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre, the company’s press-service informs.

At the international forum of modern agro-technologies KAMAZ will present several models of special machinery developed or adapted for exploitation in agro-industry. These include dump-truck KAMAZ-45149-010 with double-sided unloading based on chassis of KAMAZ-43118, dump-truck KAMAZ-65117 with double-sided unloading equipped with a manipulator-crane IM 150, isothermal van KAMAZ-4308 for carcass meat shipping, electric aggregate AD 150C-T400-1PM50XL based on KAMAZ-740.58 engine, and new cultivators KL-1 and KPO-6.

A typical room of the Universiade-2013 village will be presented as a part of Tatarstan exhibition composition at “Russia – Sport Power” forum.

Sportsmen and participants of the World Student Games-2013 in Kazan will live here. The room is 21.9 square metres large; it is designed for 3 room-mates and equipped with beds and work places. The project of an apartment envisages a kitchen (9.8 square metres) and a separate bathroom and toilet, Tatarstan Youth, Sport and Tourism Ministry press-service informs.

According to words of the chief of Universiade executive directorate Vladimir Leonov, there will be no extravagances in the room design, but the interior design will be made of modern decoration materials.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov is convinced that the forum "Russia – Sport Power” will be held at the highest level in Kazan on October 22-25.

Head of Tatarstan Government informed about it at a press-conference at All-Russia State TV and Radio Company. The press-conference was broadcasted on Vesti 24 channel and online at vesti.ru.

Rustam Minnikhanov informed about what is done in the republic for development of physical culture and sport. “Sport is one of our social policy’s priorities. This year was announced the Year of Sport and healthy Lifestyle in Tatarstan,” he emphasized.

According to words of the Prime Minister, both popular sports and elite sport are simultaneously developed in the republic.

“Expert” magazine has published ranking of 400 largest Russian companies based on product (services) sales revenue.

The leading five companies include Gazprom, Lukoil, Rosneft, Russian Railroads and TNK-BP. The following Tatarstan companies are in the list: Tataneft (the 10th position), TAIF Group (14), KAMAZ (46), Tatenergo (79).

Two European championships among students will be held in Kazan – the Universaiade-2013 capital in summer of 2010. European championships in table tennis (obligatory sport at the Universiade) and beach volleyball (a sport Kazan Universiade organizers want to include in the additional sports programme) will be held in June of the next year in Kazan.

Kazan and Tyumen will become pilot sites of the federal project “Energy-efficient block of flats”. Successful experience in energy-saving will distributed all over Russia in the future.

Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Methsin informed about it at “business Monday” at the Mayor’s Office. The Mayor encouraged the executive committee heads to take active part in the energy-saving projects.

The project “Energy-efficient block of flats” envisages audit of the energy-saving system and energy consumption of concrete housing quarters and development of measures aimed at saving energy-carrier consumption for heating, water and electricity supply.

A closing ceremony of the fifth Kazan International Muslim film festival “Golden Minbar” was held on Sunday October 4. Russian film “One War” by Vera Glagoleva won at the festival. The jury chairman Ali Khamraeva handed out the prize to the winner.

Vera Glagoleva said: “I would like to say words of gratitude to the festival; it is remarkably thoughtful and precious to us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.” Vera Glagoleva prepared a gift to Kazan – a copy of the winning film “One War”.

The rewarding ceremony began from presenting special prizes. A special prize of the international organization TURKSOI “For contribution to development of the Turkic world cinematography” was given to Uzbekistan film “Yurt” by Ayub Shakhobuddinov.

The fifth Kazan film festival “Golden Minbar” jury members met with journalists on Sunday October 4. The jury members stated that it was not easy to make decisions, but all of them were unanimous.

The jury chairman Ali Khamraev pointed out that the films which have been released for the public must not participate in the selection procedure. “Golden Minbar” is focused mostly on art films. Let’s not forget about it,” Khamraev said.

An expert at Deutsche Bank has given an assessment of the Russian government’s anti-crisis programme and named the most promising Russian territories for foreign investments, including the Republic of Tatarstan. The Industry and Trade Ministry’s press service said it in a statement.
