Today, RT President during his work trip to Nizhnekamsk participated in commissioning of new house.

Today President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev had a meeting with municipal deputies in Nizhnekamsk. Having reminded about Ilsur Metshin’s appointment to the position of Kazan mayor, he expressed hope that positive changes appeared in Nizhnekamsk will touch upon Kazan as well.

November 23, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev took part in opening of Sport and Culture complex “Ice Palace” in Nizhnekamsk. Festive ceremony began with “Shurale” performance by Champion of Russia in figure skating team “Tatarstan” (Kazan).

On November 23, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev makes a work trip to N.Chelny and Nizhnekamsk. During his visit Mr.President will participate in opening of flour mill at JSC “N.Chelny KHP”. One of the major events will become opening of Russian-German Joint Company ZF-KAMA, specialised in automotive assemblies. Industrial production of world class high-tech products was organised at the enterprise by German company ZF Friedrichshafen and JSC “Kamaz”.

President Mintimer Shaimiev has been awarded with title of Honourable officer of Chamber of inventors of Belgium for contribution to investment -innovative development of Tatarstan economy. As first deputy RT Prime Minister - minister of economy and industry Boris Pavlov informed today at a briefing in the House of Government , representatives of this public organization have transferred the prestigious award for delivery to the head of republic to chiefs of Tatarstan delegation taking part in the work of 54-th World Salon of innovations, scientific researches and new technologies "Brussels - Evrika".

President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev saw the Glory Park of Zelenodolsk where to the 60-anniversary of the Great Victory a scale reconstruction was carried out and laid flowers to Eternal fire.
