The Prime Minister of Tatarstan Roustam Minnikhanov has chaired a meeting on issues related to the development of the Khimgrad technopolis at the Tatarstan House of Government.

The Idea Capital management company general director Albert Karimov said new residents continued to arrive in the technopolis and a chain of negotiations with international companies was underway.
A new unique display called “Precious Designs. Gold in Arts and Crafts” will after mid next year arrive in Kazan. The display will be quartered at the Tatarstan Pictorial Art Museum, told Tatar-inform the museum’s director Rozalia Nurgaleyeva who not long ago returned from a trip to Kirov.
The Tatarstan’s road network and transport branch will be areas for implementing innovations. A panel meeting at the Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities has today discussed issues related to it.

The deputy minister Pavel Chernov delivered a keynote report, saying the present-day level of technology and economy did not just allowed but required implementing innovative technologies in the road sector. The first deputy minister recalled President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev talking of innovations in the public road branch at a State Council session.

The Indonesian delegation led by H.E. Hamid Awaludin, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Russian Federation, is visiting Tatarstan on December 14-16.

The programme of the Indonesian delegation in Tatarstan includes meetings with the republic’s leadership, visits to the Innovation and Industry Part Idea, the IT Park, JSC Kazan Helicopters and the RT Chamber of Industry and Trade.

Hamid Awaludin is also planned to meet with the Chairman of the RT Muslim Religious Board and to deliver a lecture at Russian Islamic University.

The Tatarstan Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring has warned of a drastic temperature fall and establishment of an abnormally cold weather on December 15 to 19.
Kazan has been recognized as Russia’s capital of sport according to an online voting organized on the website of the popular federal daily “Sovetsky Sport”. Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin informed about it at a session.
The meeting of the Security Council of the Republic of Tatarstan was held at the Kazan Kremlin on December 14. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev attended the meeting.

JSC Tatneft has completed the construction and water tests of a 118-kilometre-long main pipeline. It links the Kaleikino pump station in Almetievsk region, part of the Transneft system, and the Taneko refining and petrochemical compound under construction.

The pipeline is routed across the Almetievsk, Sarmanov, Zainsk, Tukai and Nizhnekamsk districts. An underwater line across the Stepnoi Zai river has been built. The pipe is 720 mm in diameter. This is enough to later increase the pumped volume from 7 to 14 million tonnes a year.

A traditional exhibition called Russian Timber is being held in the city of Vologda. JSC Kamaz and its official partner in the Vologda region Kamaz Leader are presenting new models of timber transport vehicles, reports the company’s press service.
The construction of an East Auto Station has commenced in Kazan. A space of 1.3 hectares on the Agrarnaya street has been allocated for it, told Tatar-inform the Central Auto Station director Andrey Khotkin.
