August 13, the Republican Council for Charity held a meeting in Naberezhnye Chelny. President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev attended the event.

The Donor Saturday and MotoDonor campaigns have been summarised in Tatarstan. Over the course of the event, a total of over 1,200 people have come to blood transfusion stations and centres, 956 of them have donated blood. A total of 448 litres of donor blood has been stored, says the Tatarstan Health Ministry at the official website.

A non-profit organisation called Innovative Ideas Development Club of Tatarstan will be set up using the facilities of the Tatarstan-based Idea technology park. The club purports to provide interaction between its members and potential customers representing Tatarstan’s larger businesses and to search for innovative solutions to social-economic, academic and research, cultural, environmental and other issues related to development of innovative activity and implementation of innovative projects, including projects within the Idea 1000 competition.

About cooperation on number of directions there was a point at today's meeting of RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov with director of the Center of international industrial cooperation UNIDO in Russia Sergey Korotkov.
