Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov has held a working meeting with heads of the industrial defence firms based in Tatarstan. The meeting reviewed the course of implementation of the minutes of meeting attended by Russian deputy industry and trade minister Denis Manturov, held in Kazan early this year.

The Tatneft oil producer has commenced the building of a trunk pipeline from Kaleikino to Nizhnekamsk oil refinery. According to the company’s’ press service, the facility is being built within the Taneko oil refining and petrochemical project in Nizhnekamsk, which chief coordinator is Tatneft. The pipeline is an important part of the infrastructure financed from the Russian Federation’s Investment Fund.

Russia Industry and Trade Ministry has approved the Tatarstan’s request for additional financing, for industrial enterprises to take part in the regional programme aimed to reduce tensions on the job market.

The volunteers from Tatarstan who took part in the recent Universiade in Belgrade were today celebrated at the Kazan City Hall. Attendees at the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Roustam Minnikhanov’s meeting with the volunteers were the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and Tatarstan Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism Minister Marat Bariev.
