The 43rd meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan of the third convocation is taking place on November 26. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the meeting.

November 25, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev visited the Verkhny uslon district, Tatarstan where he took part in the opening of the plant of ceramic products "Klyuchishchenskaya ceramica".

November 24, the concert of art masters of the Muslyumovsky municipal district dedicated to the Year of the Family was held in the Galiasgar Kamal Tatar State Academic Theatre. Tatarstan President with spouse Sakina Shakirovna, RT State Council deputy chariwoman Rimma Ratnikova, Chairman of the committee also came to attend the event.

November 21, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mintimer Shaimiev, presented veterans of the Great Patriotic War with car keys.

November 21, Mintimer Shaimiev, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, presented the national poet of Tatarstan, Shaukat Galiev, with the medal "For Valorous Labour" at the Kazan Kremlin.

November 20, the 10th congress of the All-Russian political party United Russia opened in Moscow. The Co-chairman of the Higher Council of the party, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the congress.

November 18, Russian President Dmitri Medvedev hold a meeting of the State Council of the Russian Federation. The participants of the meeting focused “On measures of development of the national competitiveness in conditions of the world finance crisis”.  RT President Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the meeting.

A shop for manufacture of tableted drugs constructed at Kazan-based OAO Tatchimpharmpreparaty by the Czech company Favea opened in Kazan. The new production of firm pharmaceutical tableted and encapsulated compositions fully meets of the European standard requirements for manufacturers of medical products GMP. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the opening ceremony.
