Republican seminar-session “On results of republican agricultural goods producers’ work in the first half of the current year and tasks for harvesting 2008” with participation of Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev took  place in Aksubaevo Municipal District.

July 8th, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mintimer Shaimiev, met with the director of the Federal Air Navigation Authority, Alexander Neradko, in the Kazan Kremlin.

President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev has met with the President of American Chamber of Commerce in Russia Andrew Somers. The first Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ravil Muratov, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Alexander Kogogin, and Chairman of Tatarstan Chamber of Industry and Commerce board of directors Shamil Ageyev have also taken part in the meeting.

Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev has met with the chief of Russian tennis federation Shamil Tarpischev. Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Minister on Youth Affairs, Sport and Tourism Marat Bariev, and Vice-President of Russian Tennis Federation Andrei Bokarev have attended the meeting.

Gratifying letters from the President of Russian Sport Wrestling Federation have been received for the name of Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev.

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev’s visit to Turkmenistan as part of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev’s official visit to Ashkhabad ended on July 5. One of the key events of July 5 was the grand opening ceremony of the training-and-trade service complex KAMAZ in Ashkhabad.

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev is in Ashkhabad within the framework of the two-day visit of the Russian Federation President Dmitry Medvedev to Turkmenistan. The head of our republic has taken part in the meeting of the two countries delegations at the President’s Palace.

On July 3rd, 2008 the Republic of Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev traveled to the city of Ashkhabad in the official delegation of the Russian Federation President Dmitry Medvedev, in the framework of his official visit to Turkmenistan.

The task of forming an energy cluster, including the power supply branch, set out in a presidential address to the parliament, is being implemented slightly ahead of schedule, told journalists Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev. He made the statement after touring new industrial facilities built in Lahishevsky District by Tatarstan’s key energy supplier JSCTatenergo.
