Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev received a letter from the Director of the programme “100 best goods of Russia”, Mr. A. Chelyukanov, saying that the interregional social organization “Academy of quality problems” and the directorship of the programme “100 best goods of Russia” summed up the results of the federal stage of the All-Russian competition, held under the programme “100 best goods of Russia” of 2006. For the last 5 years, the Republic of Tatarstan has been among the five best regions of the Russian Federation – participants of the programme. Republican companies have received the highest awards every year.

January 12, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mr. Mintimer Shaimiev, chaired the session of the Republic Council of Charitable Activities.

December 28, children and young people gathered together for a new year tree party in the Tatneft-arena Ice Palace. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mr. Mintimer Shaimiev congratulated the gathering. More than 7 thousand high school students were the president’s guests at the main new year tree party o the republic.

December 22, 28th session of the RT State Council of the third convocation was held in Kazan. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the session.
