Congratulating the State Counselor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaymiyev with his 85-th birthday, President of Kazakhstan Kasym –Zhomart Tokayev has said in his telegram:
“You are rightly celebrating this jubilee as and an acknowledged leader of your people, having made a historical contribution into the development of the Republic of Tatarstan as one of the successful and dynamic entities of the Russian Federation.
Director General of the Russian Fund of Facilitation of the Housing and Utility Infrastructure Reforms Konstantin Tsitsin, the President of the Russian Fine Arts Academy Zurab Tsereteli, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and the Chairman of the Bashkortostan State Council Konstantin Tolkachen have sent telegrams to the State Counselor Mintimer Shaymiyev congratulating him with his 85-th birthday.
At their meeting in the Kazan Kremlin, the Head of the Tatarstan Muslin Spiritual Board, the regional Mufti Kamil khazrat Samigullin has congratulated Mintimer Shaymiyev with his 85-th birthday.
Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu has congratulated the State Counselor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaymiyev with his 85-th birthday.
At a meeting with State Counselor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaymiyev in Kazan on 20 January, The Kazan and Tatarstan Metropolitan Kirill read out the congratulation from His Holiness the Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia to Shaymiyev with his 85-th birthday.
Today (on 19 January) a photo exhibition “Instants. Years. Epoch”, dedicated to the 85-th birthday of Mintimer Shaymiyev, the First President of Tatarstan and current State Counselor of the republic, has opened in the National Arts Gallery in the Kazan Kremlin.
On January 6 the State Counselor of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Sjaymiyev, the Chairman of the regional State Council Farid Mukhametshin, members and old stagers of the State Council and representatives of the community took part in a ceremony of unveiling the memorial plaque to Vasiliy Likhachev, who was a well-known state and public leader of Tatarstan and Russia. The ceremony was dedicated to Likhachev’s 70-th anniversary and the plaque was hugh up on the wall of a house where he lived.
On December 28, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin and Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates of the regional national contest "Leader of the Year - 2021".
On December 17, in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Revival Regional Foundation Mintimer Shaymiev held a meeting on construction of facilities of polylingual educational complexes "Adymnar" in the cities of Nizhnekamsk and Almetyevsk and the Supplementary Education Centre in Naberezhye Chelny.
On November 8, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaymiev took part in the national census using the State and Municipal Services Portal of the Russian Federation.
