On April 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an executive order awarding Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev the title of the Hero of Labour of the Russian Federation.
On April 22, at the 3rd Congress of the Peoples of Tatarstan, Head of the Republic of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov handed over the Order of Merit for the Republic of Dagestan to the First President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev for his great contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation and developing economic and cultural ties between Dagestan and Tatarstan.
On April 22, in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Revival Regional Foundation Mintimer Shaimiev had a meeting with Head of the Republic of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov, who arrived in Kazan yesterday to take part in the 3rd Congress of the Peoples of Tatarstan, which opens at the Korston Entertainment Complex today.
On April 19, Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of Board of Trustees of the Revival Regional Foundation Mintimer Shaimiev visited constructions sites of the Bolgar Islamic Academy and the Kul Gali Hotel, where he held a field meeting.
On March 23, in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Revival Regional Foundation Mintimer Shaimiev had a meeting with Chairman of the United Russia Party's Supreme Council Boris Gryzlov and Chairman of State Council of the republic, Secretary of the regional branch of the United Russia Party Farid Mukhametshin.
On March 21, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counsellor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, members of the Government and other officials took part in the 26th meeting of Tatarstan State Council of the 5th convocation, which was held by its Chairman Farid Mukhametshin.
On March 16, State Counsellor of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Board of trustees of the Revival Foundation Mintimer Shaimiev held a session of the Board of trustees and Administrative Council of the Foundation at the Kazan Kremlin.

On March 10, speaking at a meeting of the Commission for Coordination of Anti-corruption Activities in Tatarstan at the Kazan Kremlin, President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan's experience in implementing anti-corruption measures is recommended for use in other Russian regions.
On March 6, at the Saydashev State Great Concert Hall in Kazan, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in a solemn meeting dedicated to the International Women's Day and summing up results of the regional contest "Woman of the Year. Man of the Year: Women's view".
