A meeting of “Kazan-2013” Universiade executive directorate Moscow representation heads and students of the Tatar diaspora took place in Moscow. The students are studying at Russian capital’s higher education institutions – Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russian University of People’s Friendship and Moscow State Institute of International Relations.

April 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Technopolis Himgrad and held a meeting that focused on its further development.

April 17, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting on prospects of development of the Kazan Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation (OAO KAPO named after A. Gorbunov) at the RT House of Government. Aleksei Fedorov, the President of the United Aircraft Corporation, took part in the meeting.

April 16, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is on a working visit to the Yelabuga Municipal District, Tatarstan where he is to take part in the 34th organizational meeting of Yelabuga District Council.

The meeting of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, and representatives of Belaya Dacha Group was held at the RT House of Government on April 16. The parties talked about creation of a new production unit at Special Economic Zone Alabuga and acquiring a SEZ Alabuga resident status by Belaya Dacha Group.

The Sario Bio Industries company plans to become a resident of the Special Economic Zone Alabuga, the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the company told at the meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on April 16.

The meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan took place at the RT House of Government on April 16. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov chaired the meeting.

An extended session of the Republic of Tatarstan Public Chamber Council session is held today at Alabuga-City Hotel conference-hall in Yelabuga. The session topic is “Experience of protection and use of cultural heritage in the Republic of Tatarstan and tasks on activating work in this field”. The event is dedicated to the International Day of Monuments and Historical Sights Protection, which is celebrated on April 18.
