Based on preliminary reports, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will make a working visit to OAO Kamaz on November 17. At a special governmental commission, Vladimir Putin will evaluate the measures adopted by Kamaz. The company’s general director Sergei Kogogin will attend the meeting.
Tatarstan State Council Chairman, chairman of the Committee for Culture and education at the Council of Europe Congress of Local and Regional Authorities’ chamber of regions Farid Moukhametshin will participate in the XIV International congress “Cultural heritage and new technologies” in Vienna, Austria.

The final programme of the World Summer Universiade-2013 programme in Kazan was approved by the International University Sports (FISU) executive committee on November 14 in Erzurum, Turkey.

FISU executive committee members approved a report of Russian organizing committee on preparation for the Universiade-2013 in Kazan and confirmed the list of 13 additional sports of the World Student Games in Tatarstan capital.

The JSC Kamaz yesterday held a regular board meeting, attended by the mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Ildar Khalikov.
The opening of the Chinese cultural centre will take place at the branch of Kazan State University on November 17. The centre will not only offer Chinese classes but also have a well established exchange of scientific publications with universities of the People’s Republic of China. The leadership of the centre also plans to organize student festivals, Days of the People’s Republic of China and other cultural and educational events dedicated to Chinese history and culture.
Vice-chancellor of the Czech Technical University Jaroslav Kuba visited Kazan State University on November 11. The guest told about the university re represented and said they were interested in cooperation with the University of Kazan in various directions as well as in student exchange. The meeting took place as part of the visit of the Czech delegation led by Martin Pecina, the Minister of the Interior of the Czech Republic.
